Comreg: Four out of five letters reach destinations in one day
22/09/2005 - 17:38:45An Post is continuing to fall short of targets on mail delivery.
In figures released this afternoon, the Communications Regulator, Comreg, revealed that while things had improved, only 78% of letters were reaching their destination within one working day, which is well below the 94% target.
Ninety-eight per cent of mail is delivered within three days, but that still does not meet required standards.
