TEEU refuses to back ATGWU strike at ESB
21/09/2005 - 08:18:22The Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union has refused to back the strike action being taken by ATGWU technicians at ESB.
The ATGWU members downed tools yesterday as part of a dispute over the company's use of external contractors.
Some TEEU members refused to cross their colleagues' pickets, but the union's leadership said last night that this was simply a show of solidarity and not an indication of support for the strike action.
