Martin leading two-day trade mission to Hungary
21/09/2005 - 11:47:29Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin is in Budapest today as part of a two-day trade mission to Hungary.
Trade between the two countries increased by 20% to more than €360m last year, with sales by Irish companies in Hungary now topping €150m.
Speaking from Budapest today, Mr Martin said he hoped to boost business further during this week's visit to the country.
"We've had particular success in eastern Europe with the financial services sector and today and tomorrow we will expand upon that success and strengthen it," he said.
