Limerick firm joins UK company in fight against waste
21/09/2005 - 14:19:44Biomass Heating Solutions based in Raheenagh, Co Limerick, has teamed-up with UK-based Stewart Thermal to address the problem of waste disposal on farms.
They are to market a fluidised bed combustion unit which uses waste poultry litter to create heat for the poultry houses and nearby domestic dwellings.
The ability to produce electricity is also being developed.
