10,000 people switch banks following introduction of new forms
21/09/2005 - 15:33:28At least ten thousand people have switched banks over the past seven months.
The figures were released today by the Irish Bankers Federation which said the new 'Switching Code' introduced in February had been used by people making the move.
It allows customers to change banks by a single set of forms, available at all institutions.
