Mido cleared of FA charge
20/09/2005 - 13:19:38Tottenham striker Mido has been cleared of improper conduct following a Football Association disciplinary hearing.
The Egyptian was sent off for a challenge on Asier del Horno in the defeat by Chelsea last month and was charged by the FA for “failing to leave the field of play promptly”.
Mido denied the improper conduct charge and following a personal hearing, the FA disciplinary commission spared him further punishment.
As a result, his suspension will be completed in tonight’s Carling Cup tie against Grimsby and the player will be available to play Fulham on Monday.
