Kidman to return to West End
20/09/2005 - 08:05:23Hollywood star Nicole Kidman is returning to the London stage next year - nine years after she last wowed West End theatre fans.
The actress is in discussions to star as the heroine in a production of Henrik Ibsen play Hedda Gabler, which is expected to be directed by Daniel Kramer starting in spring or summer 2006.
The 38-year-old stunned London theatregoers, making her stage debut in a 1997 production of steamy play The Blue Room, in which she stripped off nude - prompting one prominent critic to famously dub her "pure theatrical viagra".
