Heinz considers selling some food businesses
20/09/2005 - 15:23:51Heinz has announced it’s considering selling its European seafood, frozen and chilled food businesses.
The company employs nearly 7,000 people in these divisions including 315 in Dundalk, Co Louth.
The company said it would expect any new owners to invest in the businesses for the long term.
A decision will be made over the next six to 12 months.
