Labour Party meets in Clonmel to discuss Dáil strategy

The Labour Party's TDs and Senators are meeting in Clonmel, Co Tipperary, to discuss their strategy for the forthcoming Dáil term.

A number of issues are on the agenda for the two-day gathering, including the state of the public finances and the lack of breast cancer screening facilities in certain parts of the country.

Labour's move to offer the electorate an alternative coalition with Fine Gael is also expected to be discussed along with other election tactics.
