Irish make to through to final four European Nations Hockey
17/09/2005 - 09:38:05Ireland has beaten Austria 2-1 in the semi-finals of the European Nations Trophy in Rome.
The win, with goals from Mark Irwin and Stephen Butler, ensures Ireland promotion to the A Division of the European Championship for 2007.
The winner of the tournament is guaranteed a place in the World Cup Qualifier in China from 13-23rd April 2006.
