McWalter goal ends UCD losing streak

Pat McWalter scored a scrappy winner to end UCD’s seven-match run without a league victory to lift them over Bray into seventh place.
The only goal came on 53 minutes when McWalter’s cross from a tight angle spun into the net.
UCD started well with Anto Murphy and Stephen Hurley hitting the woodwork inside eight minutes.
Bray might have snatched a point in the final minutes but Paul Murphy shot wide with only Darren Quigley to beat.
