Britain's prince installed as president of FA
16/09/2005 - 15:58:33Britain's Prince William is to become president of the Football Association, it was announced today.
The 23-year-old will take over the role from his uncle the Duke of York in May next year – just in time for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Until then the future king, an avid Aston Villa fan, will act as President-Designate, a spokesperson said.
