Govt gives €750k to emigrant service
16/09/2005 - 16:06:11The Government is to give €750,000 in grant aid to Irish emigrant services in the US.
The money will be distributed to thirteen organisations which provide support and advice to Irish people living in America over the coming year.
Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern made the announcement during meetings with community leaders in New York.
