Parents urged to ‘get with’ new media technologies
12/09/2005 - 13:21:03The Government's Internet Advisory Board has published a booklet aimed at making parents more comfortable with new media technologies like the Internet and mobile phones.
The document, entitled Get With It, is designed to alleviate fears about the use of these new technologies by children.
The booklet explains a range of technologies from the Internet to digital television and outlines the vast benefits of these developments, as well as ways to ensure that children are not harmed through their usage.
