Tyra Banks breaks down in front of her old home
Supermodel Tyra Banks was left in tears while filming a preview for her upcoming US TV chat show when producers asked her to revisit the Inglewood, California home where she grew up.
Pretty Tyra hadn't returned to the neighbourhood for years and admitted it was a very emotional experience.
She said: "Walking up this street, it's crazy because the neighbourhood looks the same. A lot of the time neighbourhoods get worse or sometimes they get better, but it really is the same as it used to be."
And she was left speechless when she found the house where she lived with her mother after her parents divorced when she was six.
She sobbed: "Oh my gosh, I knew this was gonna happen. We went from a house that I thought was a mansion to a one-bedroomed apartment."
As the memories continued to flood back, so did Banks' tears.
She added: "I went from everybody having their own rooms and my mom and dad living on the second storey of the house and then us having to move and share the bedroom and seeing my mom on the couch... It wasn't a good feeling to see that."
