Poll: Fianna Fáil losing support

Fianna Fáil would be out of power if a general election were to be held tomorrow, said a new opinion poll today.

The poll which, was carried out by Red C Marketing for The Sunday Business Post, shows support for Fianna Fáil is down to 32 per cent, a fall of 10 points since the 2002 general election.

However, the Taoiseach’s popularity ratings are up six to 37%.

Fine Gael fared well in the poll, with support for the party up to 25%, while leader Enda Kenny’s popularity rose from 19% to 31%.
