Paltrow's nudist embarrassment
Gwyneth Paltrow is cautious about sending her baby daughter Apple away to "sleepaway" camps when she gets older, after she ended up socialising with nudists during her childhood experiences.
The Oscar-winning actress and her brother Jake were sent to visit a family during one of their childhood summer breaks - and they were stunned by what they saw when they arrived.
Paltrow says: "This one summer we had tried all these camps, and then my parents said: 'Oh, there's this really nice family and they have a lake with a float in it. Why don't you go and spend the afternoon there with your brother?'
"So we went there and it turned out they were all like Vermont nudists, or something.
“My brother and I were shocked. We were only about seven and four and they were like: 'Come on! Take off your suits! It's freeing!' We were clinging to our polyester bathing suits."
