Man still held in relation to suspicious death in Limerick
10/09/2005 - 07:55:22A man is still being held by Gardaí investigating the discovery of the body of a man in Limerick yesterday.
A passer-by discovered the body of the man, in his 40s, on Mary Street in the city shortly after 8am yesterday.
Foul play was not initially suspected however Gardai yesterday evening arrested a man for questioning.
He is being detained at Mayorstone Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
A post mortem examination has been carried out by the State Pathologist Doctor Marie Cassidy and Gardaí are awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
