Man in court in relation to Limerick death

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the death of a man in Limerick.

The body of 41-year-old man Patrick O'Donoghue was found in a city centre laneway yesterday morning.

Mark Naughton, from Meat Market Lane in Limerick, is accused of recklessly or intentionally injecting a substance alleged to be heroin into the arm of Mr O'Donoghue.

At a special sitting of Limerick District Court today Judge Tom O'Donnell remanded the accused in custody with consent to bail.
