Shels end winning run for Rovers

Champions Shelbourne kept up the pressure on the leaders with a third win on the spin to end Rovers' recent surge.
Shels stole the lead a minute before the interval.
There seemed little danger as Joseph Ndo took possession some 40 yards out from goal.
But a couple of lucky ricochets later and a mishit shot saw the ball end up in the net.
Jason Byrne, who hit a hat-trick last week, sealed the win with Shels' second from the penalty spot on 58 minutes after Will McDonagh had needlessly pulled him down.
