Forever blowing bubbles, that’s West Ham United of the English Premier League; and this is another of the increasing number of films about the beautiful game.
Well, maybe not quite beautiful since this is set around the infamous Hammers hooligan ‘firm’ to whom football is secondary and then some to the breaking of rival fans’ heads.
It’s interesting for the most part though it does to veer towards the preachy at times. Wood as a hood is terrific; but sport it ‘aint!
