Pharmaceutical firm to lay off 35 workers in Co Clare
08/09/2005 - 12:02:25The pharmaceutical firm Roche has announced plans to lay off 35 people at its factory in Clarecastle, Co Clare.
The company said the move followed a decsion to cease production of a drug that was being manufactured at the facility.
Roche employs 270 people in Clarecastle, where it has been operating since 1974.
