Pakistani jailed for raping two British tourists

A Pakistani man was today sentenced to nine-and-a-half years in prison after he pleaded guilty to raping two British tourists in a Hong Kong country park, court officials said.

Muhammad Faryad, 27, admitted to raping the two women, both aged 22 at the time, on an unlit path at Tai Mo Shan in June last year, local media reported.

Judiciary spokesman Mackenzie Mak confirmed Faryad was given a nine-and-a-half years jail term today. He said he did not have details of the case.
