DJ not ready to retire
07/09/2005 - 17:40:35DJ Carey has said he is not ready to hang up his hurley just yet.
The Kilkenny hurler played his 17th championship season for the Cats this year. However, he won’t play in Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling Final between Cork and Galway.
Carey said that if he is picked in next year’s team he will play.
He will take part in a walk around Cuba later this year to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation.
