Brit Insurance announce record results
06/09/2005 - 08:54:41Brit Insurance Holdings, the UK general insurance group, today announced record interim results for the first six months of this year.
Their profits before tax were £112.4m (€166m), up 61%.
Dane Douetil, CEO said: “It is a real pleasure to announce excellent record results in the first interim statement since becoming Chief Executive. Pre-tax profits of £112.2m (€166m) reflect the benefits of the significant restructuring of the Group post 9/11, with a single minded focus on underwriting for our own account."
