04/09/2005 - 10:22:52Three teenagers from Co Louth who were caught in the devastation in New Orleans are due back in Ireland this morning.
Conor Lally, Thomas Mc Loughlin and Patrick Clarke from the village of Blackrock, near Dundalk had spent the summer on J1 student visas working in Myrtle beach, South Carolina.
They had been due to fly back last Saturday but found their flights were cancelled when they arrived at the airport.
They had the spent the last week at the superdome before being evacuated by the military.
Efforts are continuing today to track down the small number of remaining Irish citizens who are still unaccounted for following last week's hurricane.
