Wexford unchanged for Murphy Cup final
Managerless Wexford are putting out their strongest possible line-up for Sunday's Tommy Murphy Cup final against Tipperary.
In what is their second football final of the season, the Model men will boast an unchanged side from that which dusted down Longford 3-19 to 2-13 on August 20.
Wexford, with Paddy Colfer and John Hudson, both goalscorers last time out, and lynchpin forwards Matty Forde, PJ Banville and Redmond Barry in tow, return to Croke Park - the scene of their National League final defeat by Armagh in May.
Forde last week ruled himself out of contention for a place in the Wexford hurlers' side for Saturday's All-Ireland Intermediate final against Tipperary, informing boss Seamus Murphy.
Ger Halligan and Michael Furlong has taken temporary charge of the Wexford footballers.
Sunday's opponents Tipperary, who beat Roscommon in their semi-final clash, have no injury worries to report ahead of the second-tier decider.
WEXFORD (SF v Tipperary): A Masterson; P Curtis, D Murphy, C Morris; S Cullen, D Breen, K Kennedy; B Doyle, D Fogarty; J Hudson (Capt), R Barry, J Hegarty; PJ Banville. P Colfer, M Forde.
