Pakistani hostages freed in Iraq

Eleven Pakistani workers who were kidnapped in Iraq this month by unidentified men have been freed.

Pakistan foreign ministry spokesman Mohammed Naeem Khan the men, who worked for a Kuwaiti company, were kidnapped on August 15 when they were going to Baghdad.

“They will return to Kuwait within the next 24 hours,” he said.
