Tony Scott: I have always admired Ridley
17/08/2005 - 15:03:17Veteran True Romance director Tony Scott has always looked up to his film-making brother Ridley, and decided to follow in his footsteps since early childhood.
Scott, 61, insists there was never any sibling rivalry between the pair, as he was merely inspired by Alien director Ridley's artistic inclinations.
He recalls: "We had a great childhood. Ridley's always had a big influence over me.
"As a kid he was always drawing and painting, so I wanted to too.
"There were three things - art school, rugby and girls."
