ISEQ in the red

It has been a negative morning's trade on the ISEQ so far today, with the index currently trading at 6704.07, down 13.43 points on opening.

AIB fell 5c to €17.85, Bank of Ireland stayed level at €13.10 and Anglo Irish Bank also showed no change at €10.88.

Irish Life and Permanent saw the biggest fall in the financials, down 10c to €14.75.

Jurys Doyle continues to ride a takeover buzz and was up 3c this morning to €17.75.
