ISEQ back in the red

The ISEQ index of shares was back in the red today as it shed 25.59 to close at 6691.91.

AIB fell 4c to €17.86, Bank of Ireland was down 8c to €13.02 and Anglo Irish Bank was up 1c to €10.89.

Irish Life and Permanent saw the biggest fall in the financials, down 8c to €14.77.

Jurys Doyle continues to ride a takeover buzz and was up 8c to €17.80 today.
