Coughlan fails to qualify in men’s 110m hurdles
10/08/2005 - 11:13:50Ireland's Peter Coughlan has failed to qualify from the opening round of the men's 110 metres hurdles at the World Athletic Championships in Helsinki.
Coughlan finished seventh in his heat in a time of 14.57 seconds this morning in his first international event since coming out of retirement.
The athlete has had a turbulent year after stepping down from the international set-up following his exclusion from the Irish funding system.
