Six US Marines killed in Iraq
02/08/2005 - 14:10:38Six US Marines were killed in fighting in western Iraq, the US military said today.
The Marines were killed in action in Haditha in western Iraq.
Yesterday, a US marine was killed in a suicide attack in Baghdad.
The Marine was assigned to Regimental Combat Team-2 of the 2nd Marine Division.
The attack occurred in Hit, 85 miles west of Baghdad.
No further details were released.
