McMenamin to learn fate tomorrow
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte will have his fingers crossed that star defender Ryan McMenamin can avoid a ban from the GAA's Central Disciplinary Committee tomorrow night.
Corner back McMenamin, who scored a point in the Ulster final replay against Armagh ten days ago, is due to answer a disciplinary charge after video evidence picked him out for an apparent knee drop into the face of John McEntee in the same game.
McMenamin received a booking for the incident, and Harte admitted "it would be a big blow" if the Dromore clubman was suspended for Tyrone's fourth round qualifier against Monaghan this Saturday.
Armagh could also fall foul of the CDC as both Paul McGrane and Ciaran McKeever are to answer charges, also in relation to the final replay.
McKeever was sent-off for his part in the second half melee that saw Peter Canavan receive a straight red card.
