Repairs to deprive 20,000 homes of water
02/08/2005 - 16:16:18Up to 20,000 homes in Dublin are to be without water from 9pm tonight until 6am tomorrow.
Fingal County Council is also asking residents in Balbriggan, Lusk, Rush, Palmerstown, Balrothery and Hollywood to conserve water.
It says there has been a major technical fault at a local treatment plant and is asking residents to avoid washing their cars and watering gardens.
