Siege as armed police raid flat in west London
29/07/2005 - 13:55:59A siege has developed in west London today following a raid by police investigating the failed bombings in the city last week.
Witnesses said armed officers wearing gas masks mounted a major operation at a block of flats in Dalgarno Gardens, close to Wormwood Scrubs prison, at around 11.30am.
One witness said police were attempting to force a man called Mohammed to leave a block of flats.
A number of arrests have been made during the on-going operation.
