Magpies swoop for Craig Moore
29/07/2005 - 18:31:56Newcastle have agreed a deal to sign former Rangers captain Craig Moore.
The Australian, a free agent since leaving Borussia Monchengladbach last season, has agreed terms with Graeme Souness’ side for a two-year contract and is set to undergo a medical.
The 29-year-old, who played for Crystal Palace briefly after leaving Rangers for six months before returning to Ibrox, will add to Souness’ defensive options ahead of the new Premiership campaign.
