Swank's cat sparks security alert
29/07/2005 - 07:50:16Hilary Swank and her husband Chad Lowe's cat sparked a security alert on Sunday, when it triggered off alarms in the couple's New York City home.
Police rushed to the couple's Chelsea, Manhattan neighbourhood, assuming they were dealing with a burglar, but it was soon discovered that the cause of the alarm was perfectly innocent.
Swank's representative says: "Chad explained to the officers that their cat tripped off the alarm while they were out at the grocery store."
