All-star line-up for Belfast film
27/07/2005 - 15:53:09You can't get moving these days in Belfast what with a galaxy of stars out on the streets making movies.
The £2m (€2.88m) feature 'Johnny Was' is being shot in the city in a former leisure centre-cum-studio with former soccer hard-man Vinny Jones, Patrick Bergin, Samantha Mumba, Roger Daltry, Eriq La Salle, Lennox Lewis and Laurence Kinlan.
The plot involves Jones escaping a violent past in Ireland and hiding out in London, and the film, written by Brendan Foley, is directed by Mark Hammond.
