Abdoulaye Faye heads for Bolton

Lens have announced Senegal defender Abdoulaye Faye has joined Bolton on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.

A statement on the club website, www.rclens.fr, said the 27-year-old will move to the Reebok Stadium for the 2005-06 campaign.

Faye was last season loaned to Istres, making 28 appearances in a relegation campaign.
