Gardaí uncover extensive over-fishing in west
24/07/2005 - 10:07:43A Garda investigation has uncovered extensive over-fishing along the west coast.
Searches of Killybegs, Ros a Mhil, Castletownbere and Dingle Harbours found that boats are landing as much as three times their legal quota.
Files on the activities of certain fishermen are being sent to the DPP.
