Mobile operator experiences call surge after alerts
21/07/2005 - 17:20:55Mobile phone operator Vodafone has revealed it experienced a "significantly" higher volume of calls than usual after the London incidents.
The company asked customers in central London not to make unnecessary or lengthy phone calls.
They company urged customers to send text messages instead where possible.
