O'Shaughnessy back on Limerick panel

21/07/2005 - 10:51:36
Limerick's chances of securing just their third win in 10 Croke Park visits on Sunday week have been boosted by the return of Andrew O'Shaughnessy.

The Shannonsiders face Leinster champions Kilkenny in a mouth-watering All-Ireland SHC quarter-final and they will do so with the Kilmallock attacker back in harness.

O'Shaughnessy left the Limerick squad after being substituted in their final qualifier outing against Galway, and was absent from last Sunday's training session and Monday night's challenge match against Galway.

With Limerick team coach Ger Cunningham taking over Declan Nash's selector's role, Joe McKenna's side can now settle back down to preparing for the Cats clash - although star midfielder Donal O'Grady (broken thumb) is almost certainly ruled out.
