Canavan winning fitness race
Both Tyrone and Armagh name their sides for Saturday's Ulster SFC final replay tonight, and five-time AllStar Peter Canavan is expected to start for the Red Hands.
Canavan, who has been showing signs of his best form this summer, injured his ribs and shoulder during the drawn game against Armagh earlier this month, but the 34-year-old has been making a steady recovery ever since.
Elsewhere, Cavan full-back Darren Rabbitt, who was stretchered off in last Sunday's qualifier defeat of Meath, could play a part in the Breffni men's next qualifier.
Rabbitt sustained a heavy knee injury against the Royals, but fears of ligament damage have been alleviated with the swelling greatly reduced.
Martin McElkennon's side are primed for Sunday's fourth-round qualifier draw, in which they could meet either Armagh (should they finish as Ulster runners-up), Laois, Mayo or Cork.
If Tyrone falter in the Ulster final replay, they cannot be drawn against Cavan, as they lined out against them already in the Ulster Championship.
