Cats sweat on fitness of star trio
20/07/2005 - 11:00:48Leinster champions Kilkenny are waiting on the fitness of Andy Comerford, Noel Hickey and skipper Peter Barry ahead of their All-Ireland SHC quarter-final clash with Limerick on Sunday week.
Manager Brian Cody has been left sweating on the availability of the influential trio, with most mystery surrounding full-back Hickey's ailment.
The 2003 All-Star was released from St Luke's Hospital last night after falling ill on Friday with an unconfirmed illness.
Both Barry and right half-forward Comerford are trying to shake off the affects of groin strains, with the latter's being an on-going issue.
Barry sustained his in the Leinster final defeat of Wexford.
