First new Stones album for eight years confirmed
19/07/2005 - 09:11:34Legendary rockers The Rolling Stones are releasing their first studio album since 1997 later this year - and it's title is believed to be critical of US President George W Bush.
Neo-Con is due for an early September release and is the Mick Jagger-fronted band's first new material since Bridges To Babylon eight years ago.
The album was recorded in France in late 2004 and early 2005. Oh No, Not You Again is thought likely to be the lead single from the record.
The Stones - Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood - recently announced a world tour, which kicks off in Boston, Massachusetts on August 21.
