Elton to keep opinions to himself
Outspoken singer Elton John has vowed to keep his controversial opinions to himself after falling out with a star-studded selection of celebrities in quick succession.
The Candle In The Wind legend famously accused Madonna of lip-synching at Britain's Q Awards last year and described pop hunk Robbie Williams as "not a well budgie" at the same event.
He only recently made peace with fellow gay singer George Michael after revealing: "George is in a strange place. There is a deep-rooted unhappiness in his life."
And he is determined to not speak his mind in public in future: "I had a hell of a time last year and this is the end of it. I haven't spoken to (Madonna) since. She's been in Kabbalah meetings ever since. I don't think I'll ever be forgiven for that one.
"Then I had the George Michael thing and the Posh Spice thing. I will keep my mouth shut now."
