Four hurt in gun attack
18/07/2005 - 07:53:51Four people were injured in a shooting attack in Northern Ireland, police said today.
One man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg when he was targeted in the Burrendale Park Road area of Newcastle, Co Down.
Three men received superficial injuries in the assault, which happened shortly before 3am.
Police declined to reveal what happened to them.
Detectives are keen to trace a Nissan Terrano which was in the area at the time and are anxious to speak to its occupants.
