Man killed in Antrim crash

A man has been killed in a road accident in Co Antrim.

Police said his car was involved in a collision on the M1 motorway near the Sprucefield shopping centre, outside Lisburn, shortly before 7am.

Meanwhile, gardaí have named the 17-year-old girl who was killed outside Ennis, Co Clare in the early hours.

Charelle Howard of Oakwood Drive, Ennis, died when the car in which she was travelling overturned on Shanaway Road in the town.
