Local man drowns while swimming off Waterford
15/07/2005 - 11:55:00A local man in his 50s has drowned while swimming off the Waterford coast this morning.
The man got into difficulties while in the water at Clonea Strand near Dungarvan at around 7am.
A passer-by alerted the emergency services, but they were unable to come to his rescue on time.
